Reserved Parking

Memorial Stork Parking SignHospital provides many amenities to help make your birth experience more memorable. After your baby is born, a lullaby will be played within the hospital to announce the birth of your new baby. Special signs located within the community, at area businesses, are marked “Stork Station Parking.” These reserved spaces are for new and expectant mothers so they do not have to walk as far.

Dinner for Two

We Dinnerthink it is important for new parents to have a special time together to celebrate a new baby’s birth. We provide a candlelight dinner for two. Parents can choose from an entree selection of K.C. Strips or Chicken Cordon Bleu. The meals are served with a lettuce salad, vegetable, baked potato, dinner roll, dessert, and beverage.

Gift Basket

A gift basket provided by the Volunteer Corps’ Baby Basket program will be filled with many useful items for new mothers. Some of the items included are a baby’s first year sticker calendar, a stainless steel engraved spoon, a plush toy, a Stork Station rubber duck and snap-a-snack dispenser, books, an information packet, and a seasonal item.

Birth Announcment

Arrivals

To help you announce your baby’s arrival, Memorial Hospital will put a picture birth announcement in the local paper. The Stork Station will provide you with “birth announcement yard signs.” Before you and your baby leave, you will be given a baby picture in a frame that has been signed by all of the nurses who helped in the delivery process. We also take part in the books for babies program and the infant car seat program for those in need.
